can we add L5420 and E5649 CPU model Server in EVC enable cluster
Hi, In HA Cluster we have 2 ESXi 4.1 hosts and CPU model are L5420 and E5649, and I am not able to enbale EVC mode. Please suggest how we can enable EVC in my cluster

Hi, Theoretically these two processors will work in the same cluster if you enable EVC for Intel Hosts and select the "Penryn" Gen profile:In case you haven't seen this, here is the compatibility...

Thanks Glen, this solution worked for me. After enabling NX from BIOS i am able to enable EVC in "Penryn" Gen profile
